Oh wow, how sad. That puts a pit in my stomach. When my husband and I were first married we rented a tiny apartment for a year and one cold night in January the building next to ours burned to the ground. Thankfully no one was injured, but even though it was years ago I still remember the smell and the intense heat. Six families lost their homes that night. Hopefully the businesses in these buildings will be able to rebuild! You did a great job capturing the scene with these pictures.
Oh what a mess - as always Kim you seem to capture the moment in every photo you take - can I hire you for pregnancy photos? Want to come to MN in November? The weather is really great that time of year - seriously though, wish you were closer or I was closer - i would have you hired every day to capture my babies moments! Have a great day ...
It's always so disturbing to see a burned structure and your pictures capture so much... the firemen who worked to save it and the remnants of what the buildings housed.

Do you have a picture of what that building looked like before it burned?
It's very sad- especially seeing the United Way signs there. :(
