Lock Up Your Daughters Part Two

Kody discovered phones and he love em'.
He's not into "texting", he thinks it's a total waste of time when pressing speed dial is sooooo much quicker.
Kody, as we know, has also discovered girls. He's only 12 and I am like soooooo over it. :0/

Yesterday, McDreamy talked on the phone endlessly with the one girl that he has been sweet on for about three years now. She's the same one he has a date with and they talk everyday, while not so patiently waiting for the day she arrives back home from hanging with her grandparents all summer.

Imagine my surprise, as I was getting lunch on the table for three stravin' hellians, that he'd walk into the kitchen, phone on his ear, and say before he hung up "I love you".

I...WHAT????

What did he just say?

He's only 12...only 12 and won't be 13 till next month and he's still my baby and I used to be his #1. and...and, UGH!!!!
My little "Stinky Butt, Chubby Cheeks, Little Bear, Jollie Ollie, KoWee" is growing up, and I'm not liking it one little bit, I'm really not.

So..with that, here's a quick pic. of my baby.
Soon he'll turn into Kaysha, who lets me take her picture only 4 times a year, because having a photo taking Mom is sooooo not cool and taking your own self portraits with a small P&S, looking up with your arm in the picture, making pouty faces is.

Bear Bear..please stop growing up so fast, your killin' me!!

That was taken last Sunday when I took Kolin out for some pic's. Kody tagged along and held Kolin's change of shirts and hats. He held them, he dropped them, he threw them, he left them behind on the steps. Yeah.he was quite the helper. But...at the very least..I got a quick, kickin' picture of him.

A quick word on the backgrounds..
The ones with the steps and the brick building are at an old school here in Leesburg, I believe the oldest school in these parts. It was built in 1915 and until recently was still being used for adults and for high schoolers who took night ed. classes.

The ones with the blue/green backs and all the wood are at the orange packing plant that is about a four minute drive from here. I love that building...really, I do. :0)

So..I guess with that, I'm saying...if any of your are getting into the whole photo taking thing. Look beyond parks and other photo op spots. Take a trip out of the box. Find places with texture. Find places that any other peep would consider not normal, ugly or just plain weird.
Find alleyways, buildings with chipped paint, bright color walls, or graffiti walls{which is something I'm still scoping out, not having any luck and are seriosuly thinking about making one of our own}.

Tomorrow I'll leave you all with a quick and simple tip on "what to wear". It's alot easier then you think. :0)

Have an awesome day everyone!!!!

Love, Kim

PS. CJ....did you get my e-mail last week?????
PPSS. CJ...I wouldn't put Ashley around Kody, nope..wouldn't do it!! :0)

R*O*C*K In The Uterus {to the tune of R*O*C*K In The USA}

This past weekend I decided it would be a great time to lock myself in my bedroom closet, sweat some pounds off {didn't work BTW} and go through about a bazillion boxes of old memories a/k/a baby things, old greeting cards and childish scribbles on endless pages of construction paper.

As I was scrolling down memory lane cleaning out a box full of old photos, I came across one of Kody, actually his very first photo ever.
Had I have known then what I know now..I'd have known this one was gonna be trouble, nothin' but head bangin', mohawk wearin', heavy metal lovin' trouble.

As you can see...even in the womb..this kid was born to a hell raiser....

Let's recap this recent photo seen around the world, shall we?

And this one which was taken just two days ago..

Some things just never change, do they? :0)

Have a rockin' day everyone!!!!

Is It Monday? Already?

That could only mean one thing..

"Morbid Monday" on the WWOW site.
Yep...and I forgot again, and Holy Grapenuts..I so won't be forgetting again.

Monday means, I have to get my butt in gear and take care of lots of errands.
So..I'm off to run errand #1, the post office.
Dana and Tricia...your packages are on the way!! :0)

Here's three more of Kolin from yesterday.
These are only a few of the reasons why a 15 minute Wal-mart trip, yesterday, took an hour and a half. :0)

Cool, aren't they?
A very smart and talented photographer once said to me...."Kim, one day, you'll recognize your style, everyone has one..some peeps just don't know what it is, sometimes it takes a while to figure it out"
Well....after spending years trying to figure out mine, I am going to have to say "Urban" with lots of saturated color is my signature style.
No matter what I try, I always go back to the "Urban with a Touch of Grunge" style.

If this is something you like too, and you happen to be in or around Leesburg, FL. , gather up your kiddo's {not just teens and tweens, this works for little ones too}and find me. We can make some cool photographs happen for your home too. :0)

Have a great day everyone..I'm off to mail out some hats.

Hot Wings

It's whats for dinner tonight.....YUMMO!!!! :0)

It's been a busy weekend round here.

Purging closets and strolling down memory lane took up all of yesterday.
Am I the only one who cleans for 20 minutes, finds a box of baby memories and then takes that "Awwwww...remember that?" stroll for the next 30 minutes?

I gotta tell ya'all..the funniest thing I found yesterday was Kody's ultrasound.
I'll scan it tomorrow for you all to see, but I swear he is rockin' a "hawk" and headbanging in it. It's crazy! :0)

Yesterday was also spent doing home improvement shores...taking down sliding glass and putting up real doors.
Karlio...cool Dude that he is, even surprised me with shelves so I can store my ton of assorted yarns up high instead of in bins, bags and boxes. Pretty neat, huh?
Neat....is that an old word? Hmmmmm.

After yesterday, I kind of needed a day to chill, just a little.
So, this kid and I spent a little time together before we took off to Wal-Mart...which was where we were supposed to be going in the first place, but because we both suffer from ADD, we got sidetracked. :0/

Since we captured quite a few snaps...I'll show you one more tonight and some more tomorrow.

Look at him here..trying soooo hard to look tough. :0)

Have a great night everyone!!!!!

Emerald Eyes

"Seek the wisdom of the ages, but look at the
world through the eyes of a child."
Ron Wild.

Gotta love this krazy kid of mine. No matter how out of hand he gets..those darn emerald eyes get me everytime. LOL!!

Plus being the youngest helps him out alot too. :0)

I'm still busy trying to get a yard sale together...who knew it would be so much work. Here I thought, drag a few things out to the front yard, put up a couple signs.
Yeah..then I came out from under my rock and realized...it's not that simple. :0/

Not too much else going on so I'll take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy Saturday!!!

Love, Kim

Happy Saturday!!

Once Upon A Time

Once upon a time, 28 1/2 years ago two people fell in lust.

Then they fell in love.

Then they got hitched.

Then they had a baby.

Then they had another.

And another...

And another...

((the cable went out alot in NY}}

And another...

And another.

Now they are alot a bit older.

They're definitely wiser.

They're memory is going.

They're wrinkles are showing.

They're eyesight is not what it used to be.

They talk like their parents {even though they swore they never would}.

They say "back in my day" quite often.

They've put on a few {OK, more then a few} pounds.

They're still in lust.

They're still in love.

And that, my friends, is how the "Krazy K" family was born.

And, now that I've totally humiliated myself...I'm going to hide in my bedroom, turn on the A/C, pull the blankets over my head, eat a giant size Hershey and not come out for six whole days.

Love ya'all...see ya next week!! :0)

Total Destruction Of A Photo a/k/a Too Much Time Playing In Photoshop

I must have post processed this one for a good 45 minutes last night.
The original is soooo far from what the final turned out like...

Either it's a keeper..or I should be getting more sleep at night and quit playing in Photoshop. :0)

Anywhos...it was a pretty good day today. Not too much new...which explains my lack of updates.
And now, since I figure I have to be {yawn} boring {yawn} you {yawn} all {yawn...stretch} to tears...I'll jump off and hope something wonderfully exciting happens tomorrow.

Have a great night everyone!!

Kody's Update

First, I have to apologize about not updating yesterday.
After we came home from Kody's appt. in Orlando, the boys convinced me I needed to get out in the pool with them..and that's exactly where we stayed until dinnertime.
Then, a quick trip to Wally for some yarn, came home just in time to watch our every Tuesday night fave. show "Wipeout" {too funny, I'm tellin' ya!}. I did some knittin', picked Kaysha up and **BAM**, just like that it was bedtime baby.

So...here's yesterday's update today. :0)

We met Kody's new NP and she was awesome!!
Miss Allison took her time explaining and showing us in detailed diagrams the results of Kody's EEG and where in his brain the activity was coming from.
We definitely will keep him on Keppra for his seizures.
We talked about his shunt and she feels, based on his symptoms, the need for a programmable shunt will, in the near future, become a necessity.
As it turns out, his shunt is over draining which is just as problematic as under draining.

We talked in depth about his medications and are now weaning him off Orap {tic meds} and increasing his Strattera to the max dosage.
Fingers crossed his tics will diminish. Lately they have been either OK or coming in episodes of severe.

No guesses on his voice and Dr. Barr is looking into another expert that can possibly help us. They will let us know when they find one.

All in all, as always, we were very happy with his Dr. and NP..they were awesome, as well as the staff who could not be more sweeter {especially the girls there who have fallen in love with Bear and are smitten with his new "hawk".}.

Karlio is happy to go to every appt., not only because he's loves his Bear too, but because they keep like a trillion family cooking magazines there and he keeps clipping out the recipes he wants to try...but, you didn't hear that from me. ;0)

When our appt. was over, we went a 1/2 block up the road and had a picnic lunch at a cute little park that I wish we could have stayed longer at. There was a cool statue I wanted to snap a pic. of for all you gals out there but didn't get a chance. I will next time though..believe that. LOL!!

After some sandwiches, chips and my beloved Coca Cola, we were back on the road tossing around a ton of ideas about combining Kody and Kolin's b-days next month by taking them to the Orlando Science Center, which is right next door to Kody's Neuro. Doc.
Those two boys love anything science, so we think they'll have a blast.

Here's a quick picture I took of Kody yesterday at the park..

Total goof the whole time. :0)

Welp, I better jump off and start the breakfast brigade.
Have an AWESOME day everyone!!!!

Happy Sunday To Ya!

We're fixin' to spend some time hanging out in the pool, so I thought I'd jump on quick to wish you all a fantastic Sunday!
We're totally taking advantage of the weather..no rain for today. :0)

I'll leave you with this...

This was taken yesterday and although it may not be in everyone's taste, I think, with the angle's, and the B&W, it's artistic..and I really like it.
Actually, I like it so much one day I just may get it blown up really big and hang it next to the computer where I can look at it everyday....and remember the day it took me balancing on a chair, 20 tries, 19 outtakes, two cans of soda, and two candy bracelets to get that one snap. :0)

Have a beautiful Sunday everyone!!

My Very Bad Summertime Habit

I never did care much for soda, especially that high calorie, high octane, syrupy sweet, full flavor Coke.

But this year..I don't know what's going on...but these have become my very bad habit.
Open our fridge {one of the two fridge's we have in our kitchen...boys eat alot} and this is what you'll see...

If you look close, you can see my second fave and Kolin first fave hiding behind the Coke Classic....
Tubz Root Beer. :0)

It's been a pretty boring day today and that's always good in a weird kind of way.
However.....summer is taking it's toll on some extremely bored boys and they are driving me crazy today.
As I type this, Kolin is right behind me, running Kody over with a huge remote control Escapade, "jackass style".

I think I need to channel that energy and teach them a thing or to about laundry. :0)

Have a great day everyone!!!!!

When Life Hands You Lemons...

Break out the tequila and salt!! :0)

These are our neighbor's lemon tree. They don't get very yellow...but man, are they sour!!
Gotta love lemons and nieghbors who are neighborly enough to.....

1. Share those lemons.
2. Not care at all if I walk through his yard photographing them {although he probably thinks I'm a little crazy}.

Anywhos...the lemons he told us to take home are going to go really good over our chicken and spinach today. Yummo to the max!!

Later Gators!!

To Jenna....

Hey girl..if your out there, call me.
I can't find your phone number and we have to get together to discuss you wedding!! :0)

~Lame-o Kim who lost your number~ :0(

TGIF and a Little B&W

I thought the end of the weekdays would never come!!

So, how many of you went out for ice cream comes last night?
We did!!!
Unfortunately, I didn't get any snaps because it was pouring rain. Guess that gives all the more reason to go again, huh?

Not much in the way of anything exciting going on around here and since I have work to do and kids to feed...I better find myself boot scootin' off of here.

I found the cutest patterns for "Baby Longies" and "Baby Bloomers" last night and since I had a request..I am itchin' to give it a try.
Since it looks like it's going to be another rainy one...it'll be a great day to be creative...well, somewhat creative anyway. :0)
I was working on some silly "Elfin" hats last night..OMG, they made crack up....too silly and adorable at the same time.

Leaving you with one more of the Kolin..I almost scraped this one two nights ago, I'm glad I gave it a second look this morning. :0)

I know he looks like his head of hair is being neglected, but I told him he could grow it out rock star style over the summer. I thought by now he'd be hatin' it because of the heat, but he likes it.
His goal is to be able to feel it when he head bangs. LOL!!

Have a beautiful day everyone!!!!!

Love U

My kid Kolin...

The last of the litter.
The funniest kid ever.
The wildest kid in the world.
He loves to play Guitar Hero.

He loves knife fight training.
He can do double backward flips on the trampoline.
He can climb a tree faster then you can blink an eye.
He is very mischievous.
When he's quiet, he's usually in trouble.

He talks non-stop all day long.
He can't sit still to save his life.
He's king of "the crazy face".
He squints when he smiles big.
He loves candy jewelry.
Best of all..

He loves his Mama.

I love you too, Bops. :0)

SIGH...

Those youngest ones, they get me every time...I just can't get mad at that kid no matter how hard I try.
Why? Because he makes me laugh till I "p", and that is no lie. LOL!!

Wouldn't the world be a sweeter place if everyone, for no reason at all, took their kid{s} out for an ice cream cone today?
McD's has yummo ones for a buck...come on, you know you want to. :0)

Have a great day everyone!!

FMHTYH Update

From My Heart To Your Head has been updated today.

Enjoy!!

Love, Kim

PS. This very hat makes me wish my boys were tiny again, SIGH....

Spider Kolin

Last Sunday, when I took Kody out in the rain for his photo's, Kolin schlepped along too.
I'm still trying to figure out how that happened, I had no intention on bringing him...but he went from PJ's to being dressed almost exactly like his big brother and in the car in 0.3 seconds.
That kid is fast.

Since the tender age of one, Kolin has been a bonified professional escape artist.
He never really slept in a crib because he could climb out faster then you could lay him down, shut off the light and walk out the door.
He never used a walker because he'd climb out of that too.
We bought endless car seats, each one, with the promise of locking him in tighter and tighter.
Even the race car harness was no problem to an 18 month old who wanted out.
You wouldn't believe how many times I would have to pull over and rebuckle Houdini back into his seat.

Kolin is pretty good at something else.
He can climb. Good Lord, that child can climb.

Now, I know alot of little boys can climb, but Kolin is a chronic climber..and that is no joke.

When he was two, he figured out how to climb doorways.
To this day he simply cannot help himself...if there is a fence, ladder, rock, wall, lumber pile, tree, or tall person around...he has got to climb it.

So..while I was photographing Kody, and the rain was started to come down a little more then a sprinkle...to my direct right and Kody's direct left, this is what we found...

When I told him to get down..he did, but not before climbing those last three steps to see what was inside that dumpster, then he climbed on other things, anything, the boy is a natural born climber and he will not quit, not ever.
I love that kid though...he's definitely one of my favorites.
And, don't you just know...not a half second after I snapped this one, see that green/blue and whitish wall behind him? He was up it too. :0/

To all the Mom's of "Spider Children"..I feel your pain, I really do. :0)

Have a great day everyone!!!!!!

K: Going to Camp Boggy Creek.

M: Really? What did you do there that was your favorite?
K: Stage day.

M: What’s that?
K: A talent show.

M: What did you do, what was your talent?
K: I sang “Scars” {Papa Roach} and the girls were next to the stage screaming “I Love You” to me.

M: Word has it your going to be featured in a book about kids that have or have had cancer, plus greeting cards too. That is so cool. What are your feelings about that?
K: Nervous because I’ve never been in a book before and I don’t know what people will think of me.

M: Everyone loves you, you know that…right?
K: Yeah, but just incase.

M: So, your going into the 7th grade next month. That’s a pretty big accomplishment. Are you excited to be going back to school?
K: Definitely!! You know why, right?

M: Of course..your cool teachers, math, science, reading and the awesome lunches?
K: Ahhh…no Mom, it’s the girls.

M: Oh Kody Jacob.
K: Oh Mom.

M: Speaking of accomplishments, you’ve met and exceeded so many goals that some peep’s think should have been impossible for a kid that’s had three brain surgeries.
What has been your biggest accomplishment so far?
K: Getting my first date, being alive, being able to walk and my black belt of course.

M: What goals do you have set for yourself for 2009?
K: Going on a second date, giving up seizures and earning my 2nd Don {next higher black belt rank}.

M: Let’s talk about some of your favorite things, OK?
K: OK.

M: What’s your favorite ice cream?
K: Reese’s.

M: Color?
K: Black.

M: Skateboard company?
K: Element.

M: Hair care products?
K: Got To Be

M: Parent?
K: Ummmmmm…

M: That was a trick question.
K: {laughs}

M: Food?

K: No, just kidding. It’s soft shell tacos and cheese cake.

M: Car?
K: Lambo.

M: What’s that?
K: Lamborghini

M: Day of the week?
K: I’m going to have to say Saturday.

M: Video game?
K: Girls gone wild.

M: No!!
K: {laughing} Need 4 Speed Most Wanted.

M: TV show?
K: Viva La Bam

M: If you were a rock band, what instrument would you play?
K: I’d sing.

M: Do you love me?
K: That’s a hard question. Hmmm…yeah, of course!

M: Love me lots?
K: Of course.

M: I love you too baby. :0)

M: So, the world is sitting on the edge of their seats, they want to know…do you have a girlfriend?
K: Hells to the yeah.

M: You know you just broke a trillion hearts?
K: I know.

M: Do you care?
K: Yes.

M: Is there anything you’d like to say to the broken hearted girls?
K: You’ll always have a place in my heart.

M: Are you planning any dates in the near future?
K: Dude..you know that, YEAH!

M: Can I go?
K: No.

M: Can Kolin and Kaysha go?
K: No.

M: What about Daddy?
K: NO!!!!

M: Kody, you rock my world.
K: Thank you.

M: How did you get the nickname “Bear”?
K: Because I’m big, tall and ferocious.

M: It wouldn’t have anything to do with your “bear hugs” would it?
K: I guess it might.

M: Bear, is there anything you’d like to tell any kids out there who just found out they have a brain tumor?
K: Just keep swimming..Just keep swimming.

M: How about their parents?
K: Don’t bubble wrap your kids like my Mom tried to. That will make them mad.

M: You know you’re an inspiration to a lot of people?
K: Yes Ma’am.

M: What would you like to say to those people?
K: Thank you, I love you all. Thanks for thinking I’m an inspiration.

M: Your rockin’ a pretty cool “Mohawk” these days. What is your secret for keeping it spiked up all the time?
K: Got To Be Glued Spiking Gel in the yellow bottle, available at a Wal-Mart near you.

M: Can I take your picture?
K: {laughing, long silence} Yeah.

M: How about more then one?
K: {making faces} Yeah.

M: How about 20, maybe even 30?
K: {insert evil eye} yeah.

M: Well, that concludes our interview. Say good-bye Kody.
K: Good-Bye Kody. Can I go now?

M: For sure, Dude.
K: Thanks.

M: Hey Kody?
K: What Mom?

M: Say “Dude” one time for Mrs. Hallie, she loves that word.
K: Duuuuude.

M: You can go now. :0)
K: Thank you…Finally!

What interview wouldn't be complete without a mini shoot?
Here's Kody's 10 minutes shoot before the rain came and washed us out on Sunday. :0)

Have a great day everyone!!!

Love, Kim and Kody

Tech Support Desperately Needed!

I'm working on typing out Kody's interview and of course with that adult ADD problem of mine, I keep getting distracted.
So, I thought I'd share this with ya'all while you wait on me.

It was good for a laugh when I read it this morning. :0)

Dear Tech Support,
Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance - particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0. In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs,such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as NFL 5.0, NBA 3.0, and Golf Clubs 4.1. Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. I've tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail. What can I do?

Signed,
Desperate

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dear Desperate:
First keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an Operating System. Please enter the command: 'I Thought You Loved Me.exe' and try to download Tears 6.2 and don't forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5. But remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Passive Aggressive Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1. Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the Snoring Loudly beta interface with circular reference loop capability. Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-in-law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources). Also, do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0 program. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0. In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance.
We recommend Food 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7.
Good luck,
Back From The City
OK, so Orlando isn't NYC, but it's all the city I ever see these days.
Kody's update..
The trip out to his neurosurgeon in Orlando went pretty uneventful. Except for traffic being held up a little by an upside down truck, the road trip was F*I*N*E fine.
Dr. Gegg took his time and really reviewed all of Kody's scans, past and present.
He showed them to us and carefully explained everything.
What an awesome Dr., let me tell ya.
He does see lots of scar tissue and that's OK, because he couldn't believe what a huge surgery Kody had in October, 2004 and how large his tumor was at the time.
He saw two small suspicious spots that showed up on his present MRI.
They are the shape of tumor but they didn't lite up with the contrast like tumors do. So, rather then think negative and assume they are tumor..we're going to take the wait and see approach, which has always worked for us.
Shands liked to scan {MRI} Kody every year.
Dr. Gegg feels more comfortable with every 6 months, and so do we.
Two things we will carefully be monitoring for the next 6 months are..
The two new spots and his voice problems.
Dr. Gegg feels that it is very possible that he is collecting fluid in his ventricle when he lies down, however, at this moment he isn't going to recommend the surgery to replace his shunt with the one way valve. The reason being is that right now, the chance of infection is too great and unless the headaches become very, problematic..we don't want to chance an infection to that magnitude, which would leave Kody 10 days in a hospital bed with strong antibiotic IV's flowing through him. Plus, he'd feel mega crappy.
If Kody's headaches become worse and start to interfere with his school attendance or his general quality of life..then definitely for sure..we will go back and get that valve placed.
Dr. Gegg also mentioned that if ever, at any time, tumors do appear back in his brain..then he would be an excellent candidate for "Gamma Knife Surgery".
I don't really know a whole lot about it, but from what I hear it is way less invasive then brain surgery.
Soon after we got home, we received a phone call from Dr. Barr's nurse practitioner.
His EEG results were read by Dr. Barr and unfortunately they did produce abnormal seizure activity in his right frontal lobe.
Since his VP shunt is in his right frontal lobe..it's not all that uncommon.
So, he'll have to stay on the anti seizure medicine, Keppra for...well, who knows how long.
The good thing is, Keppra has no side effects on him..so taking it isn't a problem at all.
We go back to see Dr. Barr on the 22nd of this month. Not only for the seizures..but also to find out if he has any answers about Kody's voice {which BTW Dr. Gegg feels may be mild paralyses of the vocal cords...helped by speech therapy}, and his eye/facial tics.
Other then that...all went well. We really like Kody's new Orlando doctor's. They have answered all of our questions and concerns. Having Kody looked at by a new fresh set of eyes has definitely worked out great. :0)
Leaving ya'all with a snap of my two youngest hellians..trying soo hard to look tough and finding sooo hard not to laugh while looking all tough. :0)
I Know I'm Supposed To Wait....
I know I'm supposed to hold out till Kody's interview is on the big screen...but I can't help myself. :0)
Here's one from today...
Photobucket
I just don't recall telling him to grow up overnight. :0(
We're off to see the neurosurgeon tomorrow morning.
As soon as I can pry my family peep's off the computer, I'll update.
Have a great night all!!
Love, Kim
***EDIT***
OK, one more and that's it..really, don't make me stay up all night. LOL!!
Photobucket
PS. Hallie..I swear that kid is his Dad's clone, down to the veins on his arms. :0)
Our Gecko a/k/a Lizard Dude
Not to be confused with that car insurance lizard Dude {Sorry Hallie..I just had to throw in that "Dude" just for you..LOL!!}
Gecko lives on my kickin' green wicker bench that Karlio rescued from a plumbing company's trash last winter.
I love that bench, and apparently..so does "Lizard Dude".
Know who else loves that bench?
Lizard Dude's lady friend...but she's still a little on the shy side, whereas Lizard Dude loves to show off his red chin thing.
Something tells me she loves his red chin, yeah..I think I saw it on Animal Planet once.
Eeeeeew.
On to more normal things..
Backyard Bubbles.
Bubbles are cool, bubbly, colorful and lots of fun.
Ummm..until those soapy, slimy bursts of yuckness pop on my 50mm lens.
Then they are a nuisance and that's when I call it a day.
Today, I promised Kolin I'd try the bubble thing again, however, this chick is standing back..way, back.
Kody's first ever blog interview is on it's way and to top off his turn at "Keeping it Real..Keeping it Clean", he and I are off for a mini shoot at a new location I happened to spot weeks ago.
You'll never believe a place like this could be so dang cool...tight, ummm, sweet...OK, whatever.
Have a great day everyone...enjoy your Sunday!!
Another Rained Out Saturday
We definitely need the rain though..so I won't complain about too much. :0)
What is it about kids {Kolin}, bowls of cereal {Honey Comb} and Saturday morning cartoons & movies {Robot Boy and The Silver Surfer} that makes things just feel so sweet? There I go, throwing back the memory thing again.
The three kids I have left at home couldn't be more different.
Case in point..
Kaysha's Saturday morning.
1. Get up.
2. Eat whatever falls out of the cabinet.
3. Make two cappachino's..one for her and one for me.
4. Hate the idea of going to work on a weekend night.
5. Find something on TV to watch and try to forget she has a little brother that wakes up way too early and is a computer hog while he is awake.
6. Try on 7 outfits.
8. Decide on none.
Kody's Saturday morning routine...
1. Sleep.
2. Sleep more.
3. Don't let anything bother you, stay in bed.
4. Continue sleeping.
5. Wake up at noon.
6. Eat 6 pancakes, two waffles, one banana, a leftover 6 inch Cuban sub, 1 glass of milk, 1 glass of apple juice, a bowl of cereal, and a half a box of cheez its. {this, I swear is no joke...and he doesn't have an ounce of body fat on him, the brat}
7. Ask what's for lunch.
8. Work out.
9. Eat again.
10. Get on computer.
11. Eat again.
12. Swim.
Kolin's...
1. Wake up with the sun.
2. Hang with dad before he leaves for work.
3. Turn on cartoons.
4. Eat breakfast in front of the TV.
5. Chill until it's his computer time.
6. Hang off the ceiling while waiting for computer time.
7. Run with the cats from one room to the next.
8. Play video games.
9. Eat again.
10. Watch a movie.
11. Swim
I love them all, I really do...but they sure are different from each other.
Welp, it looks like my computer time is coming to a fast end, because I've got kids of all ages looking at me with the puppy dog eyes, well, except for that sleepy one.
I have a new hat pattern that I started last night and it is too cute, so I better finish that up.
I'll leave you all with two forgotten pictures from a couple of weeks ago. In looking through some folders last night, I found these...enjoy!!
Have yourselves an awesomely beautiful day today!!
Love, Kim
