He's Not Just A Puppy, He's A Prop

Getting back to a few days ago when my bratmiester kids brought home a roley, poley, fat, short legged, big footed, chewing machine with a soft, warm nose and a waggy tail I stood firm...

"No you guys, no...no way, no more animals, no...did you hear me, I said NO"

Then Kaysha said and I quote...

"But Mom, think of what a cute prop he'd be"

Karl laughed, and it was over..flat out, done, stick a fork in me, I am finished...done.

So, that's pretty much how this pain in my butt, I'm trying not to fall too in love with him, hound dog came into my life.

He's half rottie and half black lab. Both his parents are the most gentlest dogs on Earth...however they are garbage can contents eaters and I hope that trait didn't get passed along to their son.

He has a name now..as named by Kody who picked his first name, Musa {Moo-Sa}{which is Korean for Warrior} and his middle name was picked by Kolin and that's Jet Lee...Kolin and Kody's favorite martial artist.

So...stick a fork in me one more time...introducing my newest prop...

Musa Jet Lee....

My leaving shoes on the floor life is now officially over.
Starbucks...take me away. :0)

Have a beautiful day today everyone!!

Love, Kim

Kim, don't worry, it's going to be Ok.

I mean, look what happened to me...and I am still alive, bearly!

We adopted Isabelle, her Mom was 30 lbs....and her dad, a shih-tzu. Yep, she weighed 4 lbs when I brought that little girl home.

Today, my precious shih-tzu mix is 85 lbs, a lap puppy and yes...a prop!

If you look really close you can see the words "SUCKER" on my forehead!

Hugs,
Debbie, Mom of Shannon

Aw! Musa is adorable! Just another great addition to your family, that's all!

Get a cloth chew bone at the dollar store, that helps with alot of the shoe/clothing/furniture chewing, and flosses his teeth in the chew process!

Oh that poor dog.....he has no idea what is in store for him with flashing bulbs and cameras in his face! :0)

awww cute!
i had a lab named molly for 15 years and she was the sweetest dog... labs are wonderful <3

and dont worry about being soft on the pet issue... literally 2 days after we lost molly, my brother came home and said "mom! travis has to move and can't take cody with him... can we take him? he's such a good dog!"
and then a day later, he brought home 65 pounds of muscle and energy.

and sometimes i bring home small pets without telling anyone... my mom doesn't notice untill she looks in one of the many cages in my room and said "umm lauren? how many birds/fish/hermit crabs did you have again?" ;)

Aw-w-w-w Kim, Musa is BEAUTIFUL!! Look how good he goes with that red wagon! When he gets a little bigger he'll need a red handkerchief around his neck. =P Maybe the boys can teach him a little Ti Kwan Do (sp?), ya think?!! Sending BEST WISHES for the NEW YEAR for all of you, and of course, you're all in my prayers, ALWAYS!!
With Much Love,
Miss Judy

What a gorgeous precious puppy. Oh and I love the name, too.
He seems very disciplined...puppies don't sit still for very long.

Kim, He's definately a 'keeper'. Just look how adorable he looks posing for you. And you know the best part? You don't have to bribe him with candybars or a few Wally bucks. He'll do it and love you and kiss you and pose again. How great is that? As for the shoes - um, yep I've lost a few to our black lab mix too. Them pups LOVE to chew. I buy him the Nylabone things at Wally World. They are kind of expensive, but they are real strong plastic and my chewer thinks they are the best thing next to the table scraps that he manages to bat an eye for! Have fun and I hope that 2008 and is the best year for all of you in the 'K' Klan. It certainly is going to be an exciting ride with the wedding and another baby!!

Hugs to all of you,
Kari Z. from Wisconsin

*Hey tell the boys that we are covered in snow once again if they are looking for a fieldtrip head on North.

OMG...what CUTE pics! Love the name you chose, Kody & Kolin!

And...what I think is cutest about him is his HAIRY chest!! The rotty "dots" (over his eyes) gave away the Rotty part, but that chest is so doggone cute!! Maybe it runs in the family...didn't you say once that Karl has a hairy chest?? (Sorry...TMQ's, right?!)
