Apples On A Saturday Morning

The brain is still fuzzy. Not enough caffeine, not enough sleep, not enough...ummmmm....shoot I forgot what I was going to say.
That pretty much explains my lack of not very original or catchy title to this mornings oh soooo boring blog post.

I am sitting here waiting for the hell raisers to rise and shine.
Waiting for the washing machine to stop dancing so I can get everyone's clothes dried, folded and put up.
Waiting for the coffee pot to magically brew another full pot.
Waiting for something interesting to appear on TV.
Waiting for the phone to ring {the telemarketers are relentless when you move}.
Waiting...Waiting...Waiting...

For tomorrow to get here so we can make a day trip to Cape Coral to visit Kayara, Arthur and Adriana!!!
Yeppers, at around 7 AM Sunday morning our family vehicle, lovingly called, "The Green Machine", will be puling out of the driveway and heading south with ten pounds of smoked chicken and three kids in tow.
Tomorrow night we bring back no chicken and only two of those kids. One is staying to chill for a couple months before making the final decision...

A. Physical therapist for children with traumatic brain injuries or

B. Join the Navy.

The world is an open book to an 18 year old. :0)

We'll also be celebrating three August birthdays.

Kody's 14th birthday on the 18th.
Adriana's 2nd birthday on the 20th
Kolin's 12th birthday on the 25th.

LOL, with three birthdays and school starting on the 24th, you could say August is a crazy busy and darn expensive month around here.

Have a great day everyone...sounds like the washing machine is done doing the electric slide. Time to fluff and dry.

Hey, Kim! Sure sounds like a Krazy, busy, month for all of you! I forgot Adri's b-day is in the mix too!

Sounds like a good meal is being marinated today!! HOLEY COW, it doesn't seem possiblet hat Kaysha is making career choices. It seems like just yesterday when she was the 10-yr-old of the house...

I think that either choice that she makes will be wonderful! From what I've seen over the years she's a very strong, determined, and insightful young lady. I have every confidence she'll do well with her life and not let anything get in her way. You have every right to be proud of her.

Enjoy today and have a great road trip tomorrow....

Love & (((HUGS))),

Dear K. Family,
I know it's been forever since I've signed in but, much to my dismay, I haven't had much of a chance to visit the blog over the past month. I am glad to hear things are going well and that Kody's latest neurology appointment did not show anything too serious. Congratulations on the new house!! That is fantastic. I am happy things are going well for all of you and I pray that you have a safe trip.
Love, blessings, and tons of hugs,
Tanya

Just a thought Kim but there's no reason your youngest female K can't do both. She could go into hospital corpsman program in the Navy to get some medical experience under her belt then take advantage of a free college education while she's serving. They might even pay for all of the schooling if she's willing to make it a career and if not, she can use the GI Bill to finish..........
