All Kinds Of New Light

This past week I took a little time to myself, grabbed a boy or two and tested out the new light in and out of this sweet lil' house of ours.

It's official...I am a light lover.

I love the natural morning light streaming through the glass doors coming into the dining room area, check out those gorgeous catchlights in his eyes, YUM....

I love the bright, fun, afternoon light in the back yard and the way it makes the flowers pop, looks like it makes my laundry basket "pop" too, but we'll ignore that for now...

And I love the light that blankets this homemade fort thing that for now, we use as a storage shed for my 36 bins of photo props I may or may not ever use again but I don't have the heart to get rid of them, I am sentimental that way...

I think my favorite is the afternoon light that happens right before the clouds open up and cover us with rain...

What I don't love is that my precious "Little Bear" is old enough to have massive amounts of pit hair.

But, that's another story for another day.

Have a wonderful day everyone!!

Love, Kim

OMG, Kim...we ARE alike! As I was looking at that list pic of Kody I was thinking the same thing - gawd, he's got a lot of hair under those arms already! When did that happen?! :o)

I love all the pics, as always! Sound like you're slowly getting settled and into your routines!! Again, I'm so happy for all of you!

Have a great Saturday!

I love the pictures, as always! Not only does Kody have new hair he's got some big guns!! My oldest son will be 13 next month and he's getting new hair too...scary!! They are all growning up so fast. We really should get together some time since we both live in Florida. I know that our kids would love each other. When does school start for you guys? Our's starts on the 25th.

Keep all the photography props. You have some real talent in taking pictures and should get back into it when you can find the time you need to devote to it. Maybe say when those boys reach college!!!

Great pics. Congrats again on the house.
