So...that's how the boys/men of the family spent their night last night..just chillin' and talking about guy things like guys do.
We never did make it to Marti Gras yesterday. Kody had a headache and slept for about 4 hours in the afternoon, then I ended up with a migraine that lasted way into the middle of the night...sooo, we'll make up for it next year, for sure.
Not much else going on today...we're just smokin' us some short ribs and waiting for the Superbowl to start. Chances are though...we'll make it to halftime and then pass out.
Yep...getting old stinks. :0)

Great fire pics. I can just see the boys hangin' out around that fire! Sorry to hear you and Kody had headaches for Mardi Gras, though. As for Sunday...even though I'm from NYS I wasn't rootin for either team (I just watch the Super Bowl, nothing for the 8 months prior. It's WAY too long a "season"...). But...imagine this, my friend. Have your birthday land smack dab ON Super Bowl Sunday. The pits, I tell ya!! :) As my one friend said (as she held out her hands, as though she had something in them and was weighing them), "Hmmmm...Mom's Birthday...Super Bowl Sunday...Mom's Birthday...Super Bowl Sunday...". :o)
Actually, it ended up pretty good -- got kid's bedrooms cleaned (w/their help, of course!) and the hubby to hang things that I've wanted hung for a LONG time! Told them all THAT was the best present for me!!! :)
Hoping by now the headaches and migraines have left the building. I'm trying to get caught up...been such a slacker lately...!
