OK so I think I really still s**k at being {being forced into} a "Single Mom", I mean really...how many Mom's fall asleep in the car on the middle schools car rider pick up line and wake up only to the sound of the schools out bell and then start swatting the dashboard thinking it's the alarm clock?

Just sayin'......

On a happier note I am ready to continue on with this ADC thing. I don't know why I put it off, but thanks to Kody, I got my answer Sunday morning. :)

Well, I better run, the storms here is horrible. Gotta shut down all electronics, the lightening is about to hit hard again.

Have a great day all!!

Hey Kim - I have to wonder now if a certain special angel doesn't have his wonderful helping hands in a lot of these good things that are happening.......

I am thrilled for your boys, so totally thrilled. I am thrilled, too, at the miracle that is Kody. Isn't it sort of remarkable that two boys (Kody and Danny H) who battled brain cancer at around the same time are able to claim bragging rights on kickin' cancer's arss??

Kim you are doing a great job, what better evidence of that than those two boys. I think of the entire 'K' clan often and hope you are all doing as well as you can do. Congrats to Kody and Kolin that is amazing considering what they have been through.

LOL. My mom probably wouldn't even wake up, much to my embarrassment in junior high. You definitely have one up on her there. :)

Hope you guys are well! Big storms in your area, I saw.

The K family - I am so sorry about Karl. I used to follow Kody's story on Caringbridge and then followed ya'll here. Over the yrs it went from checking daily to every so often to make sure everyone was ok. I logged on today and saw the comments about being a single parent. I have now gone back and read everything from that terrible day on. Tomorrow will be my Dad's 8th anniv since his death and I will give you this advise. It does not get any better - it gets different. You don't miss him any less - you miss him differently. My dad visits us also. You can tell because there is a smell of cigs and none of us smoke. I hope your time of "Different" comes when you need it to and you are all in my prayers.

The honors your boys are receiving are such a testament to the loving way that you and your Vinnie raised them. You two set a wonderful foundation that they have thrived from! Be proud! Scream it loud! You know Vinnie sent a few congratulatory thunder booms as his way of say "way to go boys". I know you are proud of them and you should be! They are wonderful young men!
