So Mad, So Frustrated, So Tired Of Kids BS

Kody's first day back at school and he was up, ready and so happy to go back and then...

"To all the haters at LHS, my son is NOT a freak, it's a scar and he earned it by having three surgeries in a week and a half...keep laughing cuz he was raised by the best and if you turn out to be a fraction of the man he is now it will be a damn miracle. Remember what goes around comes around. You don't have to call him "Sir" but you can call him "SIR-VIVIOR"!"

Don't mess with a Momma Bear's cubs, ever. :(

Hi Kim, I have been following Kody and your blog for such a long time. Came over here originally from Katia's blog years ago. I never comment, but felt like I should say something once. You are such a strong woman and a wonderful mom. You are always in my thoughts and prayers. So next time you see a visitor from Watertown WI it is me and even if I don't comment I still wish you and your family the very best.

Haters suck, especially when they don't know the story (which is most of the time!). However, that scar could contribute to one AMAZING Halloween costume...

God this sucks. He earns his scars like the true warrior that he is. Kids can be so!!! cruel but I always wonder where they learn to be so hateful??!!

As someone who was bullied and called names up until I was in high school, I am to the point of tears reading this. I had buck teeth and was called ucky beaver up until I got braces and then the braces names started. It breaks my heart for your son. As if he (and the rest of you) hasn't been through enough, this has to happen. Not cool at all. It doesn't help now, but, K will learn from this. When I became a mother, I made sure my child knew I would not put up with that kind of stuff!!!!! God bless you and K. Thank goodness bulling has been brought up front and things are being done about it. Big hugs to K. I know how much it hurts.

There is absolutely no reason on this earth that kids today (especially with everything going on in the media about bullying)should subject another human being to such emotional distress!!!! Insist that their parents be notified. Insist this STOP!!! Kody is a warrior!...a Survivor!

Hang in there Mama Bear

PS.today it's called bullying and it's punishable by law.

Our school district has stickers in all the class room windows that say" no Place for Hate."

Sounds like your school needs these. I think it is a national school campaign.

Kids can be so damn mean. I have 6 of them and if I ever heard them make fun of anyone, I'd put my foot square in their ass. My oldest has come to blows with bullies and he is a big kid. He ran across a kid that is 17 also, and the idiot tried to take on my son whom is 6'4", 280 lbs. Goes to show how stupid bullies are. I don't know if you'd be interested but I have a 16 y/o doing virtual high school online. He was extremely ill for almost a year and fell behind. He is back where he should be and loves the freedom he has with online school. Tell Kody we're sending him lots of love from Az.

You tell'em, Kim. Don't ever back down either. Kids like that (bullies I guess they are called) need a good ass whoopin' out behind the barn by their parents. The majority of them get away with far too much these days.
