More Flowers

"Where flowers bloom so does hope."
~*~Lady Bird Johnson~*~

frontyardflower

That flower was taken from a hedge in my front yard. One day it had nothing but green branches and the next day, hundreds of tiny flowers. Does anybody know the name of them? I'd really love to know. :0)

Sorry it's taken some time to get back on here, we've been real busy trying to get the pool set up. It's like 93 degrees everyday steady but feels more like 100 or more...so yea, it's been pretty much sweltering.

It's kind of hard to believe this is the boys last whole month of school, then they have a week and a half in June {when we first moved here they would get out the second week of May}. This year flew by, I mean seriously flew by.
Next Tuesday night is high School orientation for the Bear. I am still finding it difficult to face the fact that my chubby cheeked kid is now going to be a HS freshman. Dang...

Not much else going on around here, everyday just rolls by quickly.

Now, before I leave I want to give you all a little warning about tomorrow's post.

If you break out in hives, scream and run in circles upon viewing snake photos, especially if those snake photos happen to be "feeding time" photos that show a large rat getting devoured....you may want to just not get on the blog at all tomorrow.
However, if your all into that, life will still be good and keeping your breakfast down should still be no problem, come on over anyway. We'd loves to have ya baby!! :0)

Have a great day everyone!!

Purty flowers, as always!
I can totally relate Kim - my oldest daughter is going to be a senior, and I wonder every single day - how is that possible? Uggh!
It's finally sunny and warm here, but lows are supposed to be back down into the low 30s by the weekend. Send some of that warm Fla. weather this way north!!!

Kim, time is flying by!! Remember when my kids called Kody way back when they were all fairly small? I am getting ready to send my oldest off to college and my "little" is now finishing up his sophomore year in high school....

Wish I could help identify that flower for ya. I'm not really savvy when it comes to flora and fauna....

looks a lot like one I have that I was told is a guava pinapple bush. Will have fruit later in the summer that is ok but nothing special. Always love the flowers but you have to look up close to even see them. The nursery man that sold me mine 15+ years ago called it a shy modest bush.

Hi Kim, your bush is a pineapple guava and the fruit will be egg shaped and when they fall on the ground they are ripe and ready to eat.The fall is when they are typically ready.I'am in Calif.so not sure if yours is the same. I had two but took them out because they got too big.It attracted rodents because of the fruit...but that might be good for Houdini..lol not sure if I spelled that right.Anyway have a great day.
