Happy 2009!!

We hope your New Years is a very happy and healthy one...a year that brings you and your families everything good.
Since *9* has always been my lucky number, I have a feeling 2009 will be a pretty darn good one. :0)

Here in Florida, where it is still shorts weather during the day...New Years dinner went a little something like this...

Fresh veggies...

Fresh fruit..

Heavy on the cherries...

Italian bread with olive oil dip...

And a few pretty happy kiddo's...

The only thing I didn't get a chance to snap a quick picture of was the turkey that was smoked all day long and it was dang good! Can I hear an Amen? AMEN!!!!

Have a great day everyone, till tomorrow..

Later Gators!!!

Love, Kim

Oh, my goodness...would you look at those trays of fruits and veggies?? I am so envious!!!! They look DE-lish!! :o) We had a mix of "snacks" for our 'dinner'. (You should have heard the horror in our daughter's voice at our Christmas dinner, but that's another story. Mom ran out of time and did NOT prepare anything close to a traditional meal!)

I'm so glad to find an update! I know you are way busy, but I get kinda nervous when you go a few days. I guess I'm still not used to you working outside the home, Kim! :o) I have been thinking a lot about Kaysha, so was glad to see her in the photo too. Confession time...if you keep track of the number of hits on your site, rest assured 9 out of, oh 10, each day has been from me! I just didn't leave any stalker messages every time I stopped. :)

I wish your family a wonderful 2009. You ALWAYS amaze me with your upbeat attitudes and zest for life. There is never anything that you don't seem to overcome. Kody is such an inspiration to all of us, and has a wonderful, loving, supportive family that has made him the well-rounded guy he is. May you ALL be blessed this year with the health and happiness you SOOOO deserve. I've been fortunate to "know you" for 6 years now, and look forward to the next 6!!! :o)

Love,
Shiela in NY (a.k.a. Kim's half-sister from Another Mother!)

Hey Kim,
Care to share the recipe (if any) you use for the dipping olive oil? I have been looking for a homemade recipe..as far as what spices to add and all..and thought maybe Karlio whipped that one up himself. If not, do you have a brand you reccomend? Happy New Year!

I was wondering if you still had a hat pack available from the hat site. I don't see "sold" on pack
2, but I don't know if that's updated.

Thanks :)
