I Can't Do It

I can't stop the blog.
I thought about it for a while, but after reading all the notes of encouragement and support I'm going to keep it going.
This blog is my heart, it's become a big part of my life.
This blog is my therapy..Blog and Starbucks and it's a lot cheaper then counseling that's for sure.

So...starting tomorrow I'd like to refer to this blog as a "Part Two" series.
My first book on my life ended, but Part Two starts tomorrow, and it starts with the introduction of Michael, the man who saved my life and has given me a reason to live again.

Thank you so much everyone. :)

Till then, here's something I hope will make you smile.
Her name is Alana, and she is the baby of one of my clients.
Alana was born a couple weeks ago with a hole in her heart. From what her Mom tells me, normally that hole closes within 48 hours, however, hers isn't, in fact it is getting worse.
I'd love it if you would all say a prayer for her health. They are in the process of seeing pediatric cardiologists for her.

I took this when she was 6 days old...

I've been a faithful reader for a long time ~ back from the Caringbridge days. My mom died 11 months ago and my dad is moving on with his life ... including someone new in it. I'm having a hard time accepting his new life and I truly believe that reading your blog and sharing your stories will help me get through this time in my life. I need to understand it from a spouse's perspective ... not from a child's perspective. And I know that you'll be able to help me with that. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your story ... past, present & future.

What beautiful pictures and you are so good at setting them up. Love the outfits and gracefulness of both of them. You really are a very artistic person, thus a good photographer. I am glad you are keeping your blog open.

I'm so excited that you are continuing your blog and also to meet your new love.....Michael.

As always, the pictures are adorable. I've said it before that I'd hire you in an instant if only you didn't live 3,000 miles away. My first grand baby will be arriving within the next two months and I'd love for you to photograph him. But alas, I have to enjoy your photography with other people's babies. Hugs - Julie

Oh Kim, I'm soooo glad you're going to leave the blog up, even as part 2!! Now I don't have to go on Facebook (my granddaughter had a bad experience there).

That baby is just adorable and you can bet she'll be in my prayers, starting right now! God bless and keep you and yours, Kim. You and yours are always in my prayers!

Take care!

Hugs and Blessings,

Kim, I haven't commented much either but I am another one who comes on frequently to check on you guys and has for a very long time. (like back to EARLY CB days). My Dad lives in Tavares so whenever I am there I always think about you and pray as I drive by all the places you talk about, wondering if I might see you somewhere in Leesburg. ANYWAY, I am very happy that you are going to continue with Chapter 2. It will be great for you and like sooo many have said before, we are all here to support you! You are my hero as a woman, wife, mother, friend and hottie!! My Mom died when I was 4 and my Dad remarried after that. He never forgot her but he made room in his heart for another woman. That was 39 years ago today. Not a day goes by that I don't think about her but she would want him to be happy. Just like Vinny wants YOU and your sweet kids to be happy too. So go enjoy chapter 2 with the incredible Michael!! Can't wait to meet him!!

And that sweet baby...God has great plans for her. He is going to heal the hole in her heart. Praying for her and for all of you!

I, too, am elated that you are going to continue with your blog writing. I enjoy your photographs and I enjoy hearing about your family.

I wish you much success with the photography business and also with Michael.

I am glad you are not going to worry about what others say. After all, Kim, it's your life and you have to live with yourself, so enjoy every moment of it.
