I'm still here!!!

Sorry, it's been a busy month and I know I am way overdue in introducing you all to Michael and I promise I will...please hold tight, I'm on it. :)

Thank you all for the continued support for our family and the encouragement for me to try to live life again. It's not easy and Karl will ALWAYS be my #1 first love and the one who I will always love the most...I want everyone to know that.
Michael could never replace him, but he is a good man...kind, patient, protective, sweet, understanding, funny, dorky, faithful and 1000% devoted to my family, well those of them that will let him in anyway.
The boys like him a lot, it took a while but they do.
Adriana is crazy over he is of her and that is a blessing.
I am hopelessly in love with him and though we don't get to spend much time together {he is a truck driver}, the little bit of time we do spend together is precious.
TG for cell phones and Tango, it's about the best we have 3-4 weeks at a time.

Speaking of Adriana, I took her to a small home town carnival a couple weekends ago and you would have thought I gifted her with a trip to Disney, she was soooo happy.

Here she is, yelling "Look at me Glamma...I can fly!!!"
You just gotta love 5 year old's. :)

I will be back on soon, but once again wanted to say THANK YOU to all of you who continue to love this crazy family, through the thick and the thin, good times and bad.
Your AWESOME!!!!

Kim, you make it easy to love you guys. You are just so fun and you share it like it is. I was where the kids are in that my Mom died young and my Dad dated/remarried many times. Give your kids time. I am sure that they will see that Michael will NEVER take Karl's place BUT he will bring you happiness and put that sparkle back in your life. If Michael is as awesome as we all know that he is, he will win them all over in time. There is no rush. :)

Have a wonderful weekend!

I am so happy that you are happy. I believe time will soften the other kids hearts to accepting your new man. They lost a Dad and that hurts like hell but not a single one of them can walk in your lost a partner, you lost intimacy, you lost safety and companionship. You deserve happiness. Good Luck and much happiness

First, if someone wants to see you with Michael they only need to click on a photo in your blog then scroll through the photos in the album (he is the man with you in the car and fence photos...right?)
Second, might some of your family's reaction be directly a result of your reaction? Can you move on? Can you find happiness with life?
I really think you need to be an adult and move forward...and let others be happy for you?

Your right, idk why I'm being such a pansy about it. It's not fair to him and it sure is keeping me from moving on when all I do is worry about everyone else's feeling. Thanks, I really needed that kick in the ass today. :)
