I guess I'll be a kid at heart for a while, we adopted an elf {The Elf on the Shelf} of our own and call her "Hope".

Pretty much mine and Miko's mood today.

I just love her so much.


She always can make my mood go away, especially when out of the blue she'll say to me "You know Glamma, Grammpa is sitting right next to you and he says he wants to see you smile".
I hope that connection him and his "Firecracker" have stay around for a long, long time.
It's like getting a message from Heaven. :)

Turkey Day is over...Hurry Up Santa!!!!

How I'm Feeling....

It's been a very rough couple of days, no particular reason why...it just is what it is. :*(

Let the Christmas craziness begin!!

Sometimes comes from the outside, because on the inside we're still a mess, even after almost two years.

Christening Day

Today is Madison's Christening Day.
I just know in my heart her Grammpa will be there. :)


Here she is wearing the dress and blanket I made her, I even sewed one of Karl's cuff links on the inside, he only wore them once on our wedding day, but I think it made a nice touch.
The blanket has pearl beads crocheted into it, I've never done that before and it was actually a lot easier then I thought it would be.

In the next picture, she's wearing just the dress. She's at that awkward age were she can't sit on her ow and all she wants to do is be held, standing, so she can "jump".
Anyway, getting her to sit in her little seat wasn't working out very well, but we tried anyway. :)

Yesterday I got to spend some time photographing and holding Wrigley...that's his name and yup, he was named after Wrigley Field.

Halloween Part Two

No more trick or treating for these guys, but we did have the best time passing out a lot of candy.
