The Dock

A couple of weeks ago my extremely adventurous kiddo's decided to scope out our neighborhood a little more at a time, cuz that is all I will let them do.
Overprotective..I know, I know. :0(

Last Sunday they brought me out to the "forest" in which they found the perfect "dock".
Even I had to admit, it is beautiful.
Hawks flying low pulling out small fish.
Gators swimming around peacefully.
Sunshine a warm day.
A small boat out yonder.
Spanish moss gracefully flowing in the breeze.
For a while there, snapping pictures of landscape sure felt a lot funner then shooting people.

Then, just like that, I snapped back into reality and remembered that people are fun too.

Especially people who popped outta me and who happen to have the cutest hiners ever. hehe...sorry, I just couldn't let that one go.

FYI..that was totally not posed, that's just the three of them...sib's 4 life. :0)

Have a great day everyone!!

  3. Thanks Amy. :0)

Dot, one night a few weeks ago he shot up to 5'5 1/2" making me officially the shortest in our family.
Kaysha has me by 1/4 inch. LOL!

  4. I love that last pic!! I would make it poster size for my house :) I had my sons pics taken at JCPenney last year, and asked them to take one like that, and the lady looked at me like I was crazy---I told her just take it. I had 2 boys-a red head and a blond, and I loved that picture...
I am curious...you take such awesome pictures of your kids - do you have them hanging all over your house, or are they stuck in the computer??

  5. Just stopped by to see if you posted yet today. :) Didn't see my comment from yesterday so assumed I screwed up and wrote it under the day before's blog. Nope! I must have screwed up yesterday?!

Anyway, just wanted to say I put a comment about Locks of Love on that post.

[I know...needless rambling from me today, eh?!]

Hope you're having a great day!
