If There's Something Strange.....

In your neighborhood.
Who ya gonna call?

Ghostbuster

GHOSTBUSTERS!!!!

HEHE...sorry, I had to do it and now you too will have the Ghostbusters Theme Song stuck in your head all day.
The Ghostbusters and I go back a long way, we really do. :0)

The new pool is about all set up as of this morning but before we can get it loaded with water, we have got to get us some patio block to put under the legs. Anyone from Florida who knows what "sugar sand" is, knows exactly why. Think "quick sand" only not as bad.
Sinking is not good.
So, we are seriously thinking of swapping out the filtration system/pump thing to a salt one. Any reviews? The good, bad and ugly?
So far what we have researched and heard from one other family is good, actually great but before we plunk down more $$'s next week, we were curious as to how many of you have made the switch, and do you like it?

Kody Bear comes home Tuesday morning, we pick him up at about 9:30 AM. Kolin get's his best bud back and I am off the entertainment hook for a while, probably about two hours before they start their never ending bickering again.
Thank you Dad for getting our hellraisers a pool, this Mama is forever grateful...believe that.
Ohhh, I dang near had a heart attack this morning when Camp Boggy Creek called here. They never, ever call unless something is very wrong. I froze so Karlio had to pick it up.
Thankfully, they just wanted to know who is picking him up, apparently that paperwork went missing too.
WHEW.....

Well I better get off of here so we can figure out this patio block situation we have going on here.

Have a BEAUTIFUL day everyone!!

Oh, BTW...here's that picture of my Ghostbuster in B&W. I couldn't figure out which I liked better and since you all know I am not much of a B&W person, well..guess that says alot. LOL!

What's Your Flavor?

Spending all this {cough...cough} quality time with Kolin, while Kody is away at camp, has got me....

A. Wishing I could do this everyday.
B. Hit in the head with various sized Nerf Gun darts.
C. Enjoying life as a SAHM to it's fullest.
D. Scared !*$%@*!-less of his newest desire to pop balloons where I can hear them.
E. Wanting to explore the world of homeschooling.
F. Realizing my kid can out-fart yours.
G. Happily toting him to every store I need to frequent.
H. Thanking my lucky stars his hair is long enough to cover his excessive ear wax that darned if I forgot to de-gunk again.
I. Considering sending him to work with his Dad so he can spend some quality time with him.
J. No, seriously...I do believe they could use some time together.
K. Sitting together with him, sipping homemade lemonade and watching educational shows such as "Animal Planet" all day.
L. Watching him scarf Gummi Bears and Mountain Dew while maneuvering a new remote I will never be able to work while watching every episode of the "World's Deadliest Warrior" marathon on Spike TV.
M. Staying inside in the A/C while lovingly making sure he stays out of the 93 but feels like 103 degree Florida heat.
N. Raking dead leaves out of a 20 foot diameter circle where the new pool is going up while he sits on the pool deck telling me I missed a spot.
O. Spending time in the evening drawing flowers and rainbows with chalk on our quiet street.
P. Watching him in the evening, jumping all over the trampoline yelling "watch this!" while getting bitten by 1000 super-sized mosquitos and listening to my dumb a$s neighbors argue.

Well, anyway the list could go on all day but if you guessed I was lyin' my fool face off about letters...
A...C...E...G...I...K...M and O, you guessed right.

Today, in honor of my favorite ADHD kid, I plan to purge all of his the sweet treats in our home and go for the easy going, yet full of flavor healthy snacks.

So tell me, what's your flavor?

Sweet Junk...

Cookies

Or Sweet Healthy...

Raspberries

Or this incredible Sweet 100% all boy kid....

MySillyKolin 010

Why can I not get mad at that face, even when he is popping off darts in my direction all day? Darn him.

Have a great day everyone!!
It is the start of the weekend and day 3 or is it 4 with Kolin. Will I survive? That is a question yet to be answered. Hehe....

Love, Kim

I Miss You Kody

Love your very sad brother, Kolin

The Artasin Look-A-Like

So....
I finished this up two nights ago and dang, it came out adorable.
Some of you know what the TJ Maxx Artasin throw looks like, a photographers dream when photographing those babies.
Well...most TJ Maxx stores are sold out everywhere.
Me, not being one to give up decided to give it a whirl and this is what I ended up with..

ArtasinBlanket 008

Check out those yummy colors and textures...

ArtasinBlanket 003

Mmmmmmm, if I only had a baby I would keep this....

ArtasinBlanket 005

But, sadly there are no babies around here and so I must give up this throw.
More info. on it will be on the From My Heart To Your Head website today.
Also, a new hat pack by the weekend, this one will be for the 6-12 months crowd.

Kody left yesterday without a hitch. You know he's a veteran Boggy Creeker when we pull up and his "fans" start yelling "Hey there's Kody!!!" and we haven't even made it out of the car yet.
Even more so, you know he's been there a while and comfortable with the whole place when he doesn't even allow me to walk him over to his cabin so I can see where he's staying at. Gooberhead.

So, what will me and Kolin be doing today?
Hmmmmmm...let me get down at least 6 more cups of coffee and I'll let you know.

Well my friends..it's time for me to work on that cup #2, so I better get off for now but no doubt I should be back on later.

Have a wonderful day!!

Love, Kim

Crash And Burn

After being woke up by Kody at 6 AM.
A long car ride to camp spent in a construction zone and bickering with the big brother he really does adore.
A wait at camp to check in.
Another wait to explain all medications to the nurses.
One incredibly long brother hug good-bye.
A walk back to the car in the 90 degree sun.
A long ride back home.
Non-stop talk about how much he misses his brother already.
Non-stop talk about his concern that Kody forgot his extra pillow and will he wake up with a headache or not.
Non-stop talk about just about everything in the planet.
One very uncomfortable bladder buster {mine not his}.
A stop at 7/11 {thank Heaven!} for a freezing cold slushie and a very urgent restroom trip.
A quick movie return to the big red movie rental box.
A slow ride home behind a huge red dump truck in a no passing zone.
We finally pulled into the driveway and about 10 minutes later I found this...

Sleepyhead

There is nothing like a sleeping hell raiser to melt a Mama's heart. :0)

FYI....that is Kody's pillow that he forgot and left in the car. Looks like Kolin will be sleeping on it till it's rightful owner returns home from camp.
