Chippin' With The Chicken

If your a Doritos, BBQ Frito's, Tortilla's lovin' family like ourselves you might have, stored up in your pantry, a few bags of chips that look alot like smallish chip crumb things that nobody wants to eat anymore because they are too small and why bother when you can just open up a new bag {ahem...kids of mine}.

Here's a little tip...don't throw those leftover crumbly chips away, instead, put them to some good use.
This is how we do it...

Dump all the leftover chips into a food processor, or an "as seen on TV Chop-a-Matic" or a Ziploc and hammer, whichever you like. Hammers can be a great source of letting out some aggression...but food processors are much neater and they swirl and since I am so hypnotized by the whole swirly, whirly thing...we run our through the FP, mostly to make me happy.
FYI, I also love front loading washers and dryers for the same hypnotic reaction. I know, I have issues..I'm working on them. Hehe.

Here's a little visual for you.

Dump chips of all kinds into the FP....

Watch it swirl and whirl...

Coat your chicken with an egg bath first and then smother them in pulverized chips, bake at 375 degrees for oh an hour or so until they are done.

Baa-Daa-Bing...Baa-Daa-Boom, what you get is a little something that looks alot like this...

This has been brought to you by Kim's money saving Domestic Goddess tip of the day.

Have a great day everyone!! :0)

Love, Kim

Chicken looks great but that potholder under that hot baking dish looks even more delish.... A "Kim Original," no?

You should try chicken coated in crushed Ritz Crackers!! It is a staple in our house!
